Today we installed the keel guard on the bottom of the hull. We thought it would be easier to do this without the fuselage in the hull.
We ordered the 8 foot Megaware Keelguard in white for $158.
We marked where the edges with masking tape, roughed up the surface with a scotchbrite pad, applied the primer, stuck on the center, then stuck on the rest. We did the prep with the hull upside down and applied the keelguard with the hull right side up.
