Here’s what we worked on. The trailing edge cuff looks like a piece of rain gutter. It protects the spar and helps close the gap between the ailerons/flaps and the wing. You get it in position, drill some holes, take it off and debur the holes, then eventually rivet it in place.
Mark the center line for drilling and clamp to the spar.
This kind of work can be riveting!
Why are we putting 3/4″ holes in the rain gutter?
Those are bolt access holes for inspecting the spar bolts!
We got to use our rivet spacer tool again!
The hinge arm spacer outboard likes to fall off.
It’s being held on temporarily by super glue.
I think it is helpful to buy Jet super glue in a larger bottle vs. hardware store super glue.
