We installed the trailing edge cuffs on the right wing today.
After you mark the rivets for attaching the wingtip you cut off the excess inboard material.
We taped it and cut through the tape with the airsaw to reduce splintering.
Next step is to attach the trailing edge wing cuffs.
The directions talk about figuring out the inboard and outboard side of the wing cuff. Apparently they are slightly different in size
so that they can overlap each other. The difference was pretty small and hard to determine, even with a caliper. 5750-023 – Wing Trailing Edge Cuffs are the culprit.
We needed to make some 3/4 inch holes for the bolt heads on the spar. We used a knockout die punch which worked well.
